The world is going through a period of serious changes, instability, and heightened geopolitical tensions. In the given international context key powers such as Russia, India, and China (RIC) have a special responsibility. Those three countries make a significant contribution to world development accounting for about 30 percent of global GDP PPP. They offer solutions and are responsible for the preservation of stability and sustainability, fair and equitable world in the interests of all.

Thus, it is important to continue the substantive discussion and joint work on such key aspects as:

• regional and global stability,

• economic prosperity,

• exchange of experience in areas of mutual interest,

• development of joint measures to counter new and emerging challenges.

Far Eastern Federal University as the leading Russian university of the Far East has a special role in offering the new momentum to such discussions in undertaking the role of key participant and a platform for organizing an academic dialogue on those issues to foster trilateral cooperation.
