Visa extension


A single entry visa is issued for a period of 90 days; it is issued at a consular post or diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation at the invitation of the FEFU or the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

In order to extend and obtain a multiple study / work visa, a foreign citizen studying / working at FEFU must submit the following documents to the Visa and Registration Office E744:

  1. Application ;
  2. Passport;
  3. Migration card;
  4. Multiple entry visa receipt (state duty details for visa extension

    4. 2 copies of pages with any marks:



   5. A copy of the tear-off part of the notification of arrival (registration) from 2 sides on one side of sheet A4;

6. Payment of state duty 1600 rubles;
7. Payment of the FEFU visa fee - 500 rubles;
8. One 3x4 photo on a white background;
9. A copy of the contract for studies referral on education
10. Copy of the employment contract 


Upon receipt of documents, you must check:


1. The presence of a passport, visa, migration card, notification of arrival.

2. The spelling of the last name and first name, date of birth, passport data,

3. The validity of visa and notification of arrival (registration).


If errors are found, contact the Visa and Registration Office immediately, E 744.

A foreign citizen who has not applied for a visa extension to the Visa and Registration Office with all documents 2 months before its expiration will be required to leave the territory of the Russian Federation.

A foreign citizen who has not left the territory of the Russian Federation before the visa expires can be held administratively liable in the form of a fine or expulsion from the Russian Federation and subsequent closure of entry into the Russian Federation for 5 years.
