FEFU and the Asia Pacific Bank identify the areas of cooperation

Far Eastern Federal University and the Asia Pacific Bank are going to develop multifaceted cooperation in the format of regional partnership. Specific areas of cooperation were discussed by the FEFU President Sergey Ivanets and the Asia Pacific Bank Board member Andrey Vdovin during the meeting at the University campus at the Russky Island.

Earlier in the framework of a signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Far Eastern Federal University, the Asia Pacific Bank, and the FEFU Endowment Foundation the parties agreed to conclude an agreement of cooperation, which would lay the foundation for further implementation of a number of joint projects.

FEFU School of Economics and Management and the FEFU branch divisions throughout the Far Eastern Federal District will become places of training for both full-time and part-time students, and will include re-training and continuous education courses in the interests of the Asia Pacific Bank and its subsidiary companies.

Asia Pacific Bank is ready to participate in funding of the programs that relate to establishment and development of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies and the FEFU Oriental Institute – School of Regional and International Studies, as well as to support athletic teams and induvial athletes of the FEFU School of Arts, Culture and Sports. Besides, the Memorandum also indicates the willingness of the Bank to consider funding of the FEFU Endowment Foundation.
