5,000 students of all levels and forms of studying are preparing for graduation from Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in 2017. Every third Bachelor, Specialist and Master graduates from the university with excellent grades and will receive an honors diploma (last year only one in five). Ceremonies of awarding with the assignment of qualifications and degrees will be held in FEFU from 7 to 18 July. For the first time, all the commencements will be broadcasted on the official YouTube channel.

A total of 21 ceremonies are planned. July 7 commencement will take place in the School of Natural Sciences and Vladivostok branch of the FEFU School of Education. Diplomas will be given to young geographers, hydrometeorologists, soil scientists, geologists, biologists, environmentalists, educational psychologists, and specialists in defectology education.

Students of the School of Humanities and the Oriental Institute–Schools of Regional and International Studies will bid farewell to the university on July 10. There will be the main commencement at the School of Education in Ussuriysk on July 11. The commencements in the School of Natural Sciences will also be held on 11 and 13 July, at the School of Arts, Culture and Sports on July 12, at the School of Biomedicine on July 14, and at the School of Law on July 15.

The five largest ceremonies will be held at the School of Economics and Management (11, 12 and 13 July) and the School of Engineering (17 and 18 July). This year, each of them has prepared for the graduation more than 900 Bachelors, Specialists and Masters. The full schedule of commencements at FEFU is available in the Announcements section.

The graduates will be congratulated by representatives of the university administration, school principals, faculty, heads of academic programs, heads of departments and teams of the FEFU Center of Creative and Performing Arts.

The start of the series of commencements was given by the #TOP100FEFU ceremony. The Interim President Nikita Anisimov presented diplomas to one hundred of the best graduates who achieved special success in science, sports, creative and social activities, and made a significant contribution to the development of the university.
