Dec 10, 2020 - FEFU News

In 2020, Educational Commission For Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) accredited FEFU School of Biomedicine and made a corresponding record in the "Sponsor Note" section.

Now graduates of General Medicine academic program have the right to take the international exam USMLE (United States Medical License Exam).

USMLE is a multi-stage, standardized exam for admission to a medical residency, subsequent certification, and medical practice abroad. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine (General Medicine or Pediatrics), it is possible to start working abroad, having previously passed the USMLE exam. The exam is extremely difficult and consists of several stages. USMLE is recognized almost everywhere.

USMLE assesses a doctor's ability to apply knowledge, concepts, and frameworks, and identifies the fundamental, patient-centered skills that underpin safe and effective patient care. The examination board, consisting of foreign medical educators and doctors, prepares examination materials every year.

FEFU takes into consideration the future of its students and is ready to act for the benefit of their development, therefore this news was perceived in a favorable light.
