Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) President, Nikita Anisimov, visited Seoul National University and Hanyang University (Republic of Korea) on December 3-4. The main agenda was the expansion of cooperation in the field of education and science.

Acting President of Seoul National University, Chan Wook Park, said he was interested in opening a joint two-diploma program and increasing the number of students and staff participating in academic exchanges. President of Hanyang University Young Moo Lee discussed the creation of an educational program on business management and conducting a conference on the development of humanitarian relations between Russia and the states of the Korean Peninsula.

“FEFU is ready to expand cooperation with South Korean partners and initiate new educational, cultural, scientific and technological projects that will help the to strengthen relations between two countries. Our proposals are supported and together we make a significant contribution to the development of Russia-Korea humanitarian cooperation, ”said Nikita Anisimov, FEFU President.

Far Eastern Federal University is developing ties with 40 partners from the Republic of Korea. Programs of academic exchange and support for talented students, scientific projects in the field of Korean studies, archeology, and nanoelectronics are being jointly implemented in cooperation with the largest universities, research centers and companies in the country. More than 30 South Korean students receive education at FEFU in various fields.
