Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) has launched a series of online meetings in the format of webinars for foreign applicants. Potential students and their parents are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the leaders of educational programs, teachers, ask all questions of interest in training and living on campus on the Russian island. Thanks to online meetings in the “Question-Answer” format, the staff of the Office of Vice-President for International Relations not only respond to the majority of frequently asked questions but also establish remote contact with future students. Already at the stage of submitting documents, applicants can feel the friendly atmosphere of the university.

The working languages ​​of the webinars are English, Chinese, and Russian. Thanks to this, it turns out to cover as many applicants as possible, the number of which is growing every year. The online meetings primarily present programs of greatest interest to students from China, Brazil, India, the Republic of Korea, Africa, Southeast Asia, the Persian Gulf, and the CIS. These include General Medicine, International Relations, Management, Economics, Linguistics and Philology, Tourism and Hotel Business, Construction, Biology, Computer Science, and several others.

Thus, education is becoming one of the most popular areas, which in the future will be able to bring personal fulfillment and a comfortable standard of living. Thanks to the timely digitalization of all university processes, the campaign to attract foreign citizens is ongoing as standard. At present, there is a stable interest of foreign applicants to mastering advanced competencies at FEFU”, commented Victoria Panova, Vice-President for International Relations.

Webinars are conducted almost every day during June, they are focused on applicants for Bachelor’s / Specialist’s and Master's Degrees. To participate, it is necessary to determine the educational programs of interest, a convenient date and time, submit an application to the International Admission Center via e-mail: intedmisson@dvfu.ru and on the appointed day receive a link to connect.

More than 3,500 foreign students from 74 countries study at Far Eastern Federal University. Office of Vice-President for international relations noted the positive dynamics of increasing the attractiveness of FEFU among foreign applicants. The university is actively working to strengthen international relations, strengthening the position of Russian education in the Asia-Pacific region. In total, in the international network of FEFU partners, there are more than 280 educational and scientific centers with which cooperation agreements have been signed.
