Dear friends, 

We always celebrate New Year with a special, exciting feeling. This beloved holiday is filled with sincerity and warmth; it sums up and brings hope for new achievements.

Behind is a very busy and fruitful year for Far Eastern Federal University. Our achievements are the result of the endevour undertaken by the united team of like-minded people. Students, faculty and staff are the main driving force of everything that is achieved at the university. We believed in ourselves and, despite the difficulties, have climbed one more step to the future peaks.

Today FEFU attracts talented students and best scholars to Russky Island, forms global research networks, and is involved in solving the grand challenges of the modern world. New projects are designed to advance the university to the technology leaders of the Asia-Pacific region. We are facing challenging ambitious tasks, but the more interesting and responsible is to solve them. 

I am confident that the New Year 2018 will bring even more striking events, breakthrough research, and brilliant student victories to FEFU. May your coming year be filled with happy moments, so that goodness and joy will be your true companions. Let the family and friends be always next to you, and happiness, love and prosperity prevail at your home. Wish you strong health, good mood, and inexhaustible energy!
