Considering the road maps of each 21 participating to the 5top100 Project universities, the Council paid particular attention to the analysis of the results already achieved, as well as to the availability of a clear system of the development priorities in respect of the scientific-educational activities and the management system, which ensure strong position of the group of the leading Russian universities in the global academic system.

The Council recommended to set up three groups and to allocate the subsidies in the amount of 900 million rubles, 511 million rubles, and 150 million rubles respectively to the universities within each of them for 2016. Far Eastern Federal University has also strengthened its position in the Top 100 of the QS University Rankings: BRICS and QS University Rankings: Emerging Europe and Central Asia, and it became the leader in growth among the 5top100 Project participants in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.
