On January 25, Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) invites to celebrate the Student Day. FEFU is preparing for you a festive program, in which everyone can find something exciting and astonishing. The celebration of the Student Day opens a series of major events dedicated to the 120th anniversary of our university.

The celebration culmination of the Student Day at FEFU will be a big student event. The program includes contests, interactive platforms, performances of the best creative teams and the famous Vladivostok reggae band “Marlins”.

The history of the main student holiday dates back to January 25, 1755, when Empress Elizaveta Petrovna signed the Decree “On the Establishment of Moscow University”. In modern Russia, this holiday was approved in 2005 by the Decree of the President.

Today, more than 21,000 students from 68 regions of Russia and 74 foreign countries are studying at Far Eastern Federal University. Their student school life is filled with bright events and achievements. FEFU students win scientific grants and prestigious scholarships, become the authors of promising developments, defend the honor of the university at sports competitions and in creative competitions, participate in the public life of the university, region, and country, confirming: the best students of Russia study at FEFU!
