Nov 24, 2020 - FEFU News

Dear FEFU students and staff!

From November 21 to the present, restrictions on transport links between the island and mainland via Russky Bridge still remain in connection with the threat of ice falling from the cables onto the roadway. It is planned to pre-open traffic on the evening of November 25, but we do not rule out the extension of this period. In addition, an emergency regime is still valid in Vladivostok.

Under these conditions, the university made a decision to conduct full-time classes in online environments from November 25 until the opening of the bridge to Russky Island, if it is possible without losing the quality of education and the technical conditions. The list of relevant disciplines is determined by the schools. Classes are to be conducted according to the current schedule.

Communication between the mainland and the island by sea is carried out on a regular basis; the schedule of the ferry can be found on the FEFU social networks and below.

All classes conducted in the MS Teams environment are recorded, all students who wish can access the recording.

If you are unable to return to the island and need temporary accommodation in the city, please contact interadvising@dvfu.ru, send direct message to us @fefu_dvfu or @fefu_foreign, or contact any staff of the FEFU International Office.
