Apr 29, 2021 - FEFU News

Dear FEFU students and staff!

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated April 23, 2021 No. 242, non-working days were established from May 4 to May 7, inclusive, in order to maintain the trend of reducing the spread of the new coronavirus infection. On these days, face-to-face classes at the university will not be held; visiting administrative and educational buildings is possible only in case of emergency.

By order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated April 28, 2021 No. 334, it is determined that the heads of educational organizations have the right to ensure the implementation of educational programs and intermediate attestation using distance learning technologies. We also received an appeal from the FEFU Joint Council of Students, expressing concern about the possible transfer of training sessions from non-working days to a later period. In the opinion of the students, this can lead to an increase in the workload during the session, and for bachelor's graduates - to the risk of not having time to submit documents to the master's program in time.

In this regard, the Academic Council of FEFU made a decision that during the period from May 3 to May 8, the main part of the training sessions, all types of practices will be held at the university using electronic educational environments. Laboratory and practical classes, upon agreement between the teacher and the study group, can be conducted in classrooms. Up-to-date information on changes in the schedule of training sessions will be posted in the Personal Account.

The terms of the state final attestation will not be postponed. Interim attestation for graduation groups will take place according to the schedule. From May 3 to May 8, qualification tests will be conducted in electronic environments.

Please note that the main university event in honor of Victory Day, as planned, will take place on May 7 at 12:00 at the monument to the "Polytechnics who heroically fell in battles for the Motherland" on the Pushkinskaya street. The traditional st. George Ribbon campaign will be held on the FEFU campus.
