Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project Competition for graduate and postgraduate applicants 2020/2021 starts in 15 days. The Open Doors International Competition has been held for the fourth year in a row by leading Russian universities, including Far Eastern Federal University.

The Competition is held in two stages in a distance format using the Competition system. The first (qualifying) stage will be held from September 15 to December 12, 2020, in the format of a portfolio competition, the second (final) stage, from January 11 to 30, 2021, will be the completion of the Competition tasks. The third stage is provided for the participants of the postgraduate course, it will take place from 01 to 19 March 2021 in the format of online interviews with potential scientific advisers.

Winning the Competition allows talented students from foreign countries to enroll in Master's and postgraduate studies at Russian universities without entrance examinations and study absolutely free. The winners of the Competition who choose Far Eastern Federal University for their Master's studies, in addition to free tuition at one of the most prestigious universities in Russia, will receive free accommodation on the university campus for one academic semester. Foreign citizens, stateless persons, as well as compatriots living abroad who have a bachelor's degree or graduating from bachelor's programs in 2019 and 2020, can participate.

Last year, 8 foreign nationals from Nigeria, Ghana, Sri Lanka, India, and the PRC became winners of the Open Doors Competition, most of them entered the English-language Master's program Molecular and Cell Biology.

The Competition opens up new opportunities for participants for further education, in particular, it provides the best of them with special conditions for admission to Master's programs at the leading universities in Russia.
