Nikita Anisimov told about the concept of development of Russky Island, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, and plans to build campuses for international students on the island. The FEFU Interim President invited the Chinese university to participate in this project and to open joint centers of excellence in priority research areas.

“We could start with Oceanography, Arctic exploration, shipbuilding, coastal construction, and chemical technologies,” voiced his suggestions Guo Dongming. “Recently Dalian University of Technology entered into a large-scale government program to support the best universities in China. To strengthen our positions, we will cooperate more actively with Russian universities, and FEFU may become one of the main partners.”
