Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) entered into a cooperation agreement with Oscar Ribas University, Luanda, Angola. On November 13, the document was signed by university presidents Nikita Anisimov and Euriku Vongo Gungul within the framework of a visit to Angola by the government delegation led by Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far East Federal District.

FEFU and Oscar Ribas University have agreed to join efforts to develop educational, research and cultural cooperation between Russia and Angola. Universities plan to exchange students and faculty, conduct joint research and cultural programs.

The African trip of the FEFU President will be continued with his visit to the Republic of South Africa, where Nikita Anisimov will also take part in the work of the governmental delegation and hold a meeting with the leadership of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Far Eastern Federal University is an international university, it actively develops links with academic and research centers around the world. Cooperation has been established with 205 partners in 37 countries: the largest universities, research institutes, public organizations, and businesses. Mutual interest is reflected in joint scientific projects, student exchanges, scholarship and grant programs, whose participants become hundreds of Russian and international students and faculty annually.
