Students of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) took part in the final of the All-Russian competition for young entrepreneurs “Preactum Cup. Future practices" in Novosibirsk. Competitions are aimed at supporting novice businessmen and are held with the assistance of NTI and Rybakov Fund.

The first-year student of School of Economics and Management Valeria Mashkina represented FEFU FEFU in Cup Final. She presented the conceptual clothing brand “VM” project. Master’s Degree student of the School of Economics and Management Ivan Yakovets presented the project dedicated to eSports and was called “13th_Element”. Master’s Degree student Anastasia Khramtsova presented the real space nanosatellite, CubeSat with a solar sail. Another participant in the final stage was a student of FEFU Gymnasium George Budnik with the project “Collection and analysis of information in extremely low temperatures of the Arctic”.

The competition was held on April 26 and 27 in Novosibirsk. On the first day, FEFU students took part in an accelerator, during which, under the guidance of experienced mentors, they could refine their projects, see their strengths and weaknesses, and listen to lectures of successful businessmen. The second day was devoted to the protection of projects before the panel of judges.

Interestingly, all the works that reached the final were previously recognized as the best at the Far Eastern stage of the cup, which took place at FEFU. The event brought together 34 project managers with their teams on the campus on Russky Island. Its main organizer was the student project office of the Rybakov Foundation in FEFU.

“This year we are supported by the NTI, and the cup itself has such a symbolic name, “Practices of the Future ”. It is especially pleasant that the “Boiling point” at FEFU became the venue for holding the Far Eastern Preactum Cup”, said Dmitry Borovikov, Director of Russky Technopark.

“Preactum” is a Russian non-profit program for the development of youth entrepreneurship, created with the support of the Rybakov Foundation.

Rybakov Foundation is a non-profit organization declaring its goal to support entrepreneurship, education, and social non-profit projects. The mission of the foundation is to make every person in the world have access to their own internal transformation energy.
