Starling Day 2016 on FEFU Campus

On April 23rd, FEFU celebrated one more Starling Day, the traditional for the University Spring Festival, which for the third consecutive year has been organized by the employees of the FEFU Department of Youth Policy.

The "campus market" was organized in the hall of the Building A, i.e. the fair, where students offered goods made with their own hands: a variety of pastries, drinks, soft toys, ornaments, baubles, etc. A part of the proceeds has traditionally been directed to charity.

Simultaneously with the fair, the main event of the Starling Day proceeded: contest and exhibition of birdhouses. Construction kits−tools and plywood−were distributed among the participating teams a week before the festival. The best birdhouse out of 25 ones, represented at the exhibition, was determined by secret ballot.

The Starling Day ended with the music of the popular Marlin Band.
