The main item of this meeting was placing of the Polytechnical Museum branch at the Russky Island. Employees of the Moscow Polytechnical Museum arrived in Vladivostok for discussing this process in details.

The opening day of the exhibition on the island is the day when the APEC summit begins. Already well known the topic of the first exhibition — “Fine Arts in the technology”.

— Of course, it is very good if the Museum branch will be located in Vladivostok — said the director of Scientific Museum of FEFU Boris Starostin. — But to accomplish this task, we need to work hard. And our aims are to solve the organizational issues, to make alterations in Charter of the museum, to find the room not only for exhibitions but also for storage of exhibits. All of this takes time, so at today's meeting, my colleagues and I have decided that a branch of the Museum will be established on a partnership basis. I believe that it will get smoothly incorporated in the FEFU museum complex.

The delegation of the Polytechnic Museum visited the FEFU campus under construction on the Russky Island, Scientific Museum of FEFU, and the historic building of the University, Bldg. 10, Pushkinskaya Str. And the hosts and guests look forward to an effective and a long-lasting cooperation.
