The Delegation of the Far Eastern Federal University participated in the official exposition of the Primorsky Region at the 22nd Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair held in China 15 June, 2011.
Harbin Fair being held since 1990, is the leading exhibition in the northeast China. The goal of this Fair is to develop scientific, technical and economic cooperation with Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eastern Europe countries. The organizers of this Fair are the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the State Committee for Reform and Development of China, the National Committee for the Promotion of International Trade, Government of Heilongjiang Province and other Chinese government departments and institutions. Primorsky Region is the active participant of the Harbin Fair for many years.
FEFU Delegation was headed by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Anvir Fatkulin, who praised the work of the university at the fair: “The FEFU purpose of participation in the Harbin Fair is to introduce the achievements of the University in innovation and opportunities to foreign scientific and business community for cooperation in science and technology. During the fair we were able to establish new business contacts with representatives of science and business from China, Korea, Japan, Australia and other countries. Far Eastern Federal University was represented at the Harbin Fair for the first time. But in the future we plan an annual participation of FEFU in this event.”
