FEFU students learned about new Microsoft technologies
Day of Microsoft technologies was held in the Far Eastern Federal University on October, 5. The meeting participants — FEFU students got acquainted and discussed the key resources and programs of world-famous company Microsoft, designed specifically for students. The event was organized by the student-partner of Microsoft in FEFU Sergei Kultyshev and the FEFU Department of Youth Policy.
"I told the students how using Microsoft products they can realize their entrepreneurial skills and earn money. In addition, we have talked about the competition Imagine Cup — the biggest international student competition, which annually brings together participants from different countries with a common purpose — to solve the global problems of mankind with the help of information technology. FEFU team successfully performed two years ago at an All-Russian round of the competition. So to get higher results we begin intensified training,” — said Sergey Kultyshev.
The new software were presented at the meeting which will be available for FEFU students, and useful online resources for developers: DreamSpark Academy, TechDays. The “Microsoft Student Partners” educational program interested students in particular, this program has a lot of pros — Microsoft representatives at the university have a unique opportunity to communicate directly with employees, to participate in technical training, to work with Microsoft products for free and much more. Also the leading developer of mobile applications for WP7 of KamaGames company Alexander Arkharov made the report at the meeting on "Development of a Windows Phone 7", which was the subject of lively debate.
