On Saturday, November 26, the holiday devoted to the official closing of the year of Spain in Russia and the year of Russia in Spain took place in the concert hall at Mordovtseva Str. The FEFU students who study Spanish and the invited guests took part in the concert. There were great performances of the students of Far Eastern Art Academy, of the dancers of flamenco studio “Beso del Fuego”, of the pupils of FEFU choreographic school and others. All the performances were related to the Spanish language and culture. Also, there was the awarding ceremony of winners of different contests devoted to the Spanish language held in FEFU this year.
The Director of FEFU School of Regional and International Studies Dr. Vladimir S.Kuznetsov visited this event and sincerely congratulated all the participants and the audience on this great holiday. The manager of educational program “Linguistics” Natalia A. Spitsyna and the administrator of educational program “Translation and Interpretation Studies” Marina I. Stupnitskaya also came to congratulate everyone who is partial to the Spanish culture and personally Alicia Gonsalo Lopez who has already been teaching Spanish at FEFU for more than 12 years.
