Aristides Tsatsakis (Greece)

DSc (Biology), International Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the Federation of European Toxicologists & European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX), Director of Laboratory of Toxicology and Forensics, Medical School, University of Crete (Greece). Professor Aristides Tsatsakis leads the project of the 'Impact of particulate matter in exhaust gases on biocenosis of the modern city', supported by the Russian Science Foundation, at the Nanotechnology Research and Education Center, FEFU School of Engineering.

The title of the FEFU Honorary Doctor was awarded on April 20, 2017.


Kaoru Maruta (Japan)

PhD, Professor, Head of Energy Dynamics Laboratory, Deputy Director of Innovative Energy Research Center, Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University (Japan). Professor Kaoru Maruta is a scientific supervisor of the International Combustion and Energy Laboratory, FEFU School of Engineering, and the leader of the project of the 'Fundamental principles of new combustion technology with recirculation of heat and mass' supported by the Government of the Russian Federation megagrant.

The title of the FEFU Honorary Doctor was awarded on June 30, 2017.


Andrey Adrianov (Russia)

DSc (Biology), Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of Department of Aquatic Biodiversity and Marine Bioresources, FEFU School of Natural Sciences. Academician Adrianov Is a prominent scientist in comparative morphology and systematics of invertebrates. He is the author of five books and 90 articles in local and international journals. He has been awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation for the cycle of works in the field of biodiversity and environmental safety.

The title of the FEFU Honorary Doctor was awarded on March 22, 2018 year.


Kiyoshi Yamada (Japan)

Doctor of Law, Chancellor of Tokai University (Japan), Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Hawaii Tokai International College (USA). Professor Kiyoshi Yamada is a prominent social figure in Japan, he is a member of many social, political and cultural organizations in the country, a member of the Japanese Local Government Management Association, Japan Association of Private Law, and Japanese Cultural Association.

The title of the FEFU Honorary Doctor was awarded on May 15, 2018 year.

Vladimir Kurilov (Russia)

J.S.D., LL.D., Dr. Kurilov has been the President of Far Eastern National University for more than 20 years. In 2010–2018 Dr. Kurilov has headed the School of Law, he has been the FEFU Vice President for International Relations until 2017, and the FEFU Academic Supervisor up to May 2018. Dr. Kurilov is the author of more than 200 scientific works in the field of labor law and international law, politics, economics, education, and international relations. He has the title of Honorary Figure of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, awarded the Order of Honor and Order of Merit Fourth Class.

The title of the FEFU Honorary Doctor was awarded on June 21, 2018.
