Heterologous expression of recombinant proteins in plants and microorganisms;

Regulation of vitamin biosynthesis by microbial producers;

Creation of recombinant vaccines;

Regulation of biosynthesis of low molecular weight compounds in plants.

Supervisor’s research interests:

Molecular biology and biotechnology; genetic and genomic engineering of plants, fungi and microorganisms; biomimetics, organic and inorganic nanostructures; drug compounds, vaccines and therapeutic proteins.

Research highlights

The opportunity to conduct joint research with the industrial partner of the FEFU NSP - the Arnika company.

Supervisor’s specific requirements:

High level of knowledge of basic biological disciplines: molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology, microbiology, etc.

Basic knowledge of laboratory methods: microscopy, nucleic acid extraction, PCR.

Ability to carry out statistical processing of research results.

The level of English is sufficient for fluent communication and writing.
