Russky Technopark

Russky Technopark (RU TechPark) is designed to develop the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem in order to ensure the innovative development of the entire Russian Far East, and to assist Russian hi-tech companies in entering the promising Asia-Pacific markets. The establishment of the Technopark was announced at the 2nd Eastern Economic Forum in 2016 by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, whereas next year at the 3rd Forum Russky Technopark was officially inaugurated.

Today, Russky Technopark includes more than 80 resident companies from various clusters, such as IT & Telecom, Biomed, Robotics, Energytech, Neurotech, and Marinet. Launched jointly by Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and Skolkovo, in 2020 Russky Technopark has become the regional operator of Skolkovo Foundation. The management of the Technopark is performed by its operator – FEFU Technology Entrepreneurship Fund.

One of the key Russky Technopark projects is RU TechPark Accelerator. The first Accelerator to support innovative projects of the Russian Far East launched on the Cosmonautics Day in 2019. In 2020, Russky Technopark successfully conducted the «Startup as Diploma» Student Online Accelerator. The «Startup as Diploma» program itself has been operational for several years at FEFU. In 2019 with seven graduates presented their startups through Russky Technopark.

Other educational tracks on technological entrepreneurship include IdLab and Innovator's Navigator programs. Besides that, Russky Technopark actively engages with students through FEFU Student Tech & Innovation Center, which provides an opportunity to work on technological projects together with industrial partners under careful guidance of experienced mentors.

As for international relations, the partnership network of Russky Technopark unites such countries as China, Republic of Korea, Japan, India, and Vietnam. Moreover, Russky Technopark is a member of Asian Science Park Association (ASPA), Silk Road Hi-Tech Park Association, and UBI Global community. In 2018 FEFU welcomed the 22nd ASPA Annual Conference on its campus.

 Asian Science Park Association (ASPA)

 ASPA is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1997 with a purpose to jointly develop the industry of scientific technologies, industry and economy of the Asian region. The main goal is to stimulate joint development in Asia through the interchange of technologies and regional innovations, yet also to form one Asian community through exchanging information in the sectors of industry, technology, culture and education.

In 2018, Russky Technopark, established jointly by FEFU and Skolkovo Foundation, became a member of the Association.

 Silk Road Hi-Tech Parks Association

The Silk Road High-Tech Parks Association is an organization composed of high-tech parks, service and research institutions and large and medium-sized enterprises from all countries and regions of the "One Belt – One Road" initiative. It is a platform for strengthening cooperation among different organizations, sharing resources, giving full play to their advantages, and communicating information to win cooperation.

In 2018, Russky Technopark, established jointly by FEFU and Skolkovo Foundation, became a member of the Association.

 UBI Global

 UBI Global is an innovation company and community, founded in 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden to identify where innovation hubs are located worldwide and to learn and share what makes them successful. It conducts the World Benchmark Study biennially for business incubators and accelerators and helps programs with assessment, best practices, and recognition. The partnership network consists of 700 incubation programs, with the majority linked to universities and other centers of excellence. These members represent 20,000+ startups and are located in 70 countries.

Russky Technopark, established jointly by FEFU and Skolkovo Foundation, became a member of UBI Global community in 2019.
