This is the 9th conference on discrete optimization and operations research.

This conference will be held in Russky Island at the Far Eastern Federal University Campus.

The conference's topics will cover the whole scope of Mathematical Programing, Combinatorial Optimization, and Operations Research, including Data Mining, Scheduling Theory, Experimental Economy, Logistics and Transportation, Supply-Chain-Management, Project Management, and more.

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers in discrete optimization and operations research, exchange knowledge, identify promising research avenues and application domains, and foster new collaborations.

Main Topics

  • Mathematical models and methods for decision making
  • Mathematical programming
  • Integer programming and polyhedral combinatorics
  • Bilevel programming and multicriteria optimization
  • Optimization problems in machine learning and data mining
  • Discrete optimization in scheduling, routing, bin packing, locations, and optimization problems on graphs
  • Computational complexity and polynomial time approximation
  • Applications of operations research

Proceedings will be prepared as a volume of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Springer to the beginning of the conference. The papers with new unpublished results should be submitted by the EasyChair system https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=door2016.

The submission deadline is April, 15, 2016 May, 3, 2016.  Each participant can submit a paper in one of the following formats:

- Regular paper, 10–14 pages;

- Short communication, 6–8 pages;

- Poster presentation, 4 pages (for conference presentation only).

All papers will be reviewed according to standard procedure for scientific publications. Accepted papers will be included into the Program if at least one author takes part at the conference and pays the conference fee. All papers must be prepared by Springer rules for the LNCS:   http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0
