Dear Colleagues!

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure for us to invite you to the International Conference on Climate Change and Natural Disasters in the Asia-Pacific Region, which will be held from 13 to 14 August 2019 at the Conference Hall of the Far Eastern Federal University (Russia, Vladivostok, Russky Island, FEFU Campus). The Far Eastern Federal University and Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences jointly organize the meeting under the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Joint Research Program e-ASIA.

This Conference will be a unique opportunity to meet the top-level scientists in the field of Climatology and Environmental Sciences. The Conference will provide information on the most recent findings and scientific breakthroughs. It will also focus on application of scientific research in environmental policies and practical ways to mitigate climate change. I am sure, it will foster launching of the new collaboration projects in the field of Climate Change and Global Warming.

Join us for two concentrated and fascinating days of examining contemporary challenges and new advancements in Environmental research. We invite you to contribute and help us shape the event through submissions of your research abstracts, papers and e-posters.

Language of the report

The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translation services will be provided.


Presentations and abstracts

The conference program will include plenary, poster and sectional reports. A stand session will be organized near the conference room on the days of the event. Detailed information on the submission of theses will be sent in a separate letter to participants who have confirmed their participation.


How to reach Vladivostok

Vladivostok is located in the southern part of the Russian Far East. The easiest and fastest way to reach city is by air. There are direct flights to Vladivostok from Tokyo, Toyama, Osaka (Japan), Seoul (Rep. Korea), Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai, Hong-Kong (China). Participants from Russia and Europe can take direct flights from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. For more specific information, please contact the Organizing Committee.


The Organizing Committee will arrange the following free-charge services for participants

Airport transfers upon arrival and departure;

Selected foreign (up to 2 participants per country) and non-Vladivostok participants will be provided with return air tickets and accommodated in the hotel and guest houses of Far Eastern Federal University on the Russky Island for the duration of the conference (3 nights, August 12-15, 2019). Organizing Committee will select the travel fellows and invite them officially.
