ACNS'2017 is the international forum for the exchange of information on the latest progress in research of carbon nanostructures. General topics include synthesis and technology, physical properties, chemistry of all members of carbon nanostructure family including fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, graphene, carbide derived carbon, onions, nanographite and nanodiamonds as well as their main applications for industry, biology and medicine.
Following the tradition of ACNS conference, the conference-school for young scientists "Advanced carbon nanostructures and methods of their diagnostics" will be held in the course of the ACNS'2017 on July 5, 2017.
The fifth one day International Conference School for young scientists «Advanced Carbon Nanostructures and methods of their diagnostics» keeps the traditions of previous International schools for young scientists, that were held during International conferences «Fullerenes and Atomic Clusters” (IWFAC’2009) and “Advanced Carbon Nanostructures” (ACNS’2011-2015).
The language of the Conference School is Russian.
The fifth International Conference School will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2017 in St Petersburg, Russia (in the frame of the International Conference "Advanced Carbon Nanostructures").
The scope of lectures of invited speakers covers all new types of carbon nanostructures.
The program of the Conference-School includes invited lectures, poster and oral sessions (short talks 1-2 minutes in Russian), where the reports of young scientists (up to 28 years old), devoted to the carbon nanostructures diagnostic techniques, will be presented. The participants of the Conference School will be supplied by the tutorial materials in English
Young scientists can take part the Conference School independently of their participation in the Conference. The participation in the School does not require the registration fee.
The best work presented by young scientist will be honored with a certificate of merit and a valuable gift.
