APEC CCHE 2018

Description

From 11 to 12 September 2018, within the framework of the IV Eastern Economic Forum at Far Eastern Federal University. The seventh APEC International Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education “Education in Digital Era: Challenges and Opportunities for APEC” was held. Within the framework of the conference, in addition to thematic sessions, the Working Session on the work on the APEC Report on Education and Economic Development, organized jointly with the APEC Education Network, was held for the first time. The report, which aims to gather information on best practices in education, was presented at the 2018 APEC Summit Senior Officials Meeting in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The conference was attended by 100 delegates - representatives of the leading universities of the region's countries, educational ministries and relevant departments, international organizations, as well as analytical and expert centers accompanying the strategic development of national education systems of APEC economies. The program included a plenary session and three consecutive thematic sessions: "Science and Technology Parks in Universities", "Development of 21st Century Skills in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution", "Universities in Modern Conditions of Interaction with Government and Commercial Institutions”.
