The improvement of the stabilisation level of LED driver

In the past few decades, great progress has been made in lighting technologies: solid-state light sources, or semiconductor light-emitting diodes (LEDs), have firmly established themselves in monochrome luminescence: auto car brake lights, traffic lights, road signs as well as living quarters and offices. The most important unit of LED lighting device is a driver which actually provides the qualitative characteristics of the lamp through its entire lifetime. The article presents a scheme of the author’s new engineering solution for a driver with a higher level of stabilisation. It contains the results of modelling which enables one to forecast the reduction of the pulsation of output voltage down to two per cent.
Key words: LED, driver, controller, stabilisation.
