Comparative analysis of local ice loads on the offshore ice-resistant platform Molikpaq by the Sakhalin-2 project

Considered are the main factors affecting the value of local ice loads according to various normative documents and determined the estimated values of local ice loads from flat ice floes on the ice-resistant platform Molikpaq located on the Sakhalin shelf.

Key words: local ice loads, ocal ice pressure, contact area, comparison of results, Monte Carlo method, the platform Molikpaq.
