Making external threads through spinning procedure

The article deals with the procedure of making helicoid surfaces (and threaded ones) by milling. The procedure is based on the theory of interenveloping surfaces. The present article presents the author’s procedure of thread milling by spinning which requires special process equipment. To realise the procedure, a universal milling machine can be used, whereas a special cutting hob is required to make a thread surface by spinning procedure.
