Calendar of Admission

Persons with Russian citizenship (dual or multiple citizenship) are considered by the Russian Federation only as citizens of the Russian Federation regardless of their place of residence (Federal Law of 28.04.2023 N 138-FZ “On Citizenship of the Russian Federation”).

Calendar of admission for international applicants

All foreign citizens applying under a separate competition for international applicants (contract places)	The application process begins on April 1		There is no separate competition. In accordance with the deadlines set by the FEFU Admission Office for applicants to the programs: Postgraduate, Residency

* Compatriots are those persons whose parents were born on the territory of the USSR or RSFSR. As well as persons living abroad and having secondary general education received in educational institutions of the states of residence may enter Russian universities on the same basis as Russian citizens, provided that they submit documents confirming their status of compatriots.

		Accompanying family members of foreign students are not provided with visa support and places in dormitories of the Far Eastern Federal University.

Application Fee

Dear applicants, we would like to inform you that in 2019, a one-time non-refundable application fee for document processing has been introduced for admission to FEFU to study under the main educational programs of Bachelor's, Specialist, Master's, Postgraduate and Residency. The Application Fee is 5,000 rubles.

Upon successful completion of the competition for admission to places under the contract for paid educational services, applicants will be required to pay this amount only through the FEFU online payment system. Payment of the application fee will have to be made after activation of the student's personal account (after enrollment in the university) on the university website.

Examination of documents on previous education

Dear applicants, we would like to inform you that from 2024, a one-time non-refundable fee for the examination of a foreign document on previous education has been introduced for admission and transfer to FEFU to study under the main educational programs of Bachelor's, Specialist, Master's, Postgraduate and Residency. The fee for expertise and drawing up an conclusion on the equivalence of a foreign educational document is 5,000 rubles.

Upon successful completion of the competition for admission to places under the contract for paid educational services, applicants will be required to pay this amount only through the FEFU online payment system (in the absence of this certificate). Payment of the application fee will have to be made after activation of the student's personal account (after enrollment in the university) on the university website.
