The Far Eastern Federal University and the Central China Normal University (Wuhan, People's Republic of China) have collaborated to develop a joint training programme in Regional Studies and Management. The programme will be launched as early as the current 2024-2025 academic year.
A delegation from the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) comprising Anna Komogortseva, Director of the FEFU Centre of Russian Language and Culture, and Valeria Shvedova, Project Manager of the Office of the Vice-President for International Relations of FEFU, visited the Central China Normal University (CCNU) in Wuhan to discuss the details of a joint educational programme.
During the visit, the guests had the opportunity to tour the campus of the partner university, engage in discussions with foreign students, including those from Russia, and meet with the director of the Institute of International Education. They also had the chance to interact with Russian language teachers. A series of joint sessions is scheduled between teachers of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at FEFU and Russian language teachers at the Central China Normal University (CCNU).
As part of the joint programme, the parties agreed to pay special attention to Russian language training to further strengthen cultural and economic ties between the countries.
To remind, The People's Republic of China is one of the university's key partners. FEFU is building cooperation with more than 60 public and private educational institutions, research institutes, government organizations and foundations in China. The university's partner network extends beyond the northeastern provinces bordering Russia to encompass the southwestern territories of China.
