Educational program “General Medicine” of the FEFU School of Medicine is without a doubt the most popular educational track among international students. Almost 600 international students are currently enrolled at School of Medicine under that program and the number of potential international applicants for it grows year by year.
In addition to high-quality education, much regarded professors-practitioners, advanced equipment and the best regional medical institutions for internships, the university looks to unify educational qualifications and reduce possible career challenges for its graduates. Following that, in 2020, the FEFU was accredited by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
As part of this, graduates of the FEFU School of Medicine can pass the USMLE international exam (United States Medical License Exam), a multi-stage standardized examination for residency admission with subsequent certification and medical practice abroad, which is recognized by a great number of countries around the world. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine (General Medicine or Pediatrics), it is possible to start working abroad, having previously passed the USMLE exam.
