"Heart of Russky Island" - a new infrastructure project is planned to be build as a part of the FEFU Campus scale-up

The historic quarter “Heart of Russky Island", a multifunctional event space and a shopping mall is planned to be created near FEFU. These plans were announced during the discussion on modernizing the Vladivostok's infrastructure which was conducted within the frameworks of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum.

A food-court and various stores are planned to be placed on the opposite side to FEFU campus, creating a more convenient environment for the students and university staff.

A multifunctional event space will be located next to the historic quarter which would allow to hold festivals, open-air concerts and other events near the sea side. This space will not only have entertaining purpose but also educational, as it will be used for organizing various workshops, classes and supplementary educational activities. An exhibition pavilion will be located in the "Heart of Russky Island" as well.

By 2030, it is planned to place more than 50 large residents and 200 start-ups and set over 3500 high-tech working spaces.
