At the Global Technology Leadership Forum, “Russky” Technopark team was awarded the “Contribution to Technology Development” award. The leaders of the innovation ecosystem were honored for their contribution to the development of individual markets of the National Technology Initiative (STI) and for achievements related to the development of the technological potential of Russia as a whole on December 5 in Sochi.

In total, companies in 22 nominations were noted at the forum, including “Digitalization of socially significant objects”, “For contribution to the development of production technologies”, “For coverage of the technology market”, “For the best implementation of the regional standard of STI”. The awards were presented by Dmitry Peskov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development.

“We are grateful to colleagues from VEB Ventures for the nomination, which is an honor for us. We will fulfill the request of Dmitry Peskov and together with the team and residents of the “Burn on!” Technopark. The receipt of the award confirms that we are moving in the right direction - we are fulfilling a mission to create an eco-environment for technological entrepreneurship in the Far East”, said Dmitry Borovikov, Director of “Russky” Technopark.

"Russky" Technopark is a joint project of the Far Eastern Federal University and the Skolkovo Foundation, created in 2017 in the framework of the Russky Island Development Concept approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. Together with partners and FEFU, the Technopark is forming an ecosystem for the comprehensive support of technology projects and their quick promotion to the markets of the Asia-Pacific region.
