Nikita Anisimov, Interim President of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU), presented degree diplomas to one hundred best graduates of 2017. Russian and international Bachelors, Specialists and Masters were honored at the commencement ceremony. Each of them made a significant contribution to the development of the university while studying, manifested themselves in science, creative activities, sports, and social life.

“Being in the top 100 is very honorable. I am sure that you, the graduates of FEFU, will always comply with this high status and carry it proudly through your life,” said Nikita Anisimov. “Remember that the doors of our common home, Far Eastern Federal University, are always open to you.”

The students were also congratulated with the graduation from the university by Ilya Kovalev, the Vice Governor of Primorsky Krai, Victor Gorchakov, the President of the FEFU Alumni Association, Hongyu Zhou, the Deputy Consul General of China in Vladivostok, and Maria Maksudinova, the Honorary Consul of Indonesia.

The presentation of diplomas was held in a special way. The appearance on the stage was accompanied by the announcement of personal achievements and victories, and together with the diploma everyone received a 'golden' badge of the university. In response, the alumni thanked their alma mater for the eventful student life.

“Student years are the best, and they are full of freedom in FEFU. Here we breathe in full, we feel that nothing is impossible,” said Daria Belyavtseva, graduate of the School of Economics and Management (SEM). “Thanks to teachers for their patience and wisdom, to parents for their support, to school principals and all employees for the opportunities provided. There are new victories ahead of us, alumni, but looking back, we will remember our university with trembling and love and that will make us happy.”

One hundred of the best FEFU graduates in 2017 also include 14 international students. Nikita Anisimov and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Vladivostok presented honor diplomas to citizens of the People's Republic of China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Iraq, Uzbekistan, and Japan.

“On behalf of all international students, I thank the faculty and staff for the opportunity to study at FEFU. Far Eastern Federal University laid the foundation for our future. Thank you for your work, care and support,” Kung Ming (PRC), the graduate of SEM, said in response.

The commencement evening opened a series of graduation parties at Far Eastern Federal University, which will last from July 7 to 19. More than 5,000 Bachelors, Specialists and Masters graduate from the largest university in the Far East of Russia in 2017.
