“Far Eastern Federal University is a great friend of the Republic of Korea, it plays an important role in the development of educational cooperation between our countries and in strengthening peace on the Korean Peninsula,” said Woo Yoon-keun. “Far Eastern Federal University is one of the most famous Russian universities, it attracts a lot of our students, and I hope that their number will grow every year.”

“Far Eastern Federal University is ready to expand cooperation with South Korean partners and initiate new educational, cultural, scientific and technological projects that will help our countries become even closer,” said Victoria Panova, the FEFU Vice President for International Relations. “It's a great honor for our graduates to get diplomas from the hands of the Ambassador of their native country, and I'm sure this day they will remember for a lifetime.”

The official representative of the Republic of Korea in Russia presented diplomas to seven FEFU graduates of bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programs. They have successfully completed the programs in International Relations, Philology, Management, and Art Criticism.

“I can say for sure that I was lucky to see how Vladivostok and the university are developing, I was lucky to learn from the best teachers and meet friends from all over the world. On behalf of all Korean students, I thank the FEFU faculty and staff for their help and our country for the opportunity to receive an excellent education at Far Eastern Federal University,” said Ko Yongsong, graduate of the Oriental Institute–School of Regional and International Studies.
