FEFU to host College Olympics for international students of Far East

Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) will host the 3rd College Olympics for international students from the Far East under the slogan 'Generation of Peace'. Major international competition will be held in October 2018 with the participation of more than 300 representatives of universities of Primorsky Krai, Amur Oblast, and Khabarovsk Krai. Heilongjiang University (China) may become a newcomer to the student games.

It has already been scheduled that the College Olympics will last four days. Students will compete for the challenge cup and the title of the strongest in mini football, volleyball, table tennis, swimming, badminton, athletics, streetball, and Go board game. It is planned that the first two game days will be held in Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES). The final days, award ceremony, and closing ceremony of the College Olympics will be held in FEFU.

As we have already informed, the College Olympics for international students of Primorsky Krai took place for the first time in autumn 2016, when the main cup was won by the FEFU team. Last year, Far Eastern Federal University was ranked second, and the trophy was awarded to the VSUES varsity team.

Far Eastern Federal University enrolled more than 3,100 students from 67 countries in 2017-2018 academic year. The leading university in the region is rapidly gaining popularity in the world and is enhancing its international competitiveness.
