The names of Mister and Miss FEFU 2015 student contest were announced on December 18, 2015. Fourth-year student Yana Savenko and third-year student Nikita Smolnikov from the School of Economics and Management became the winners of this student contest. Freshman Irina Pikina from the Institute of Oriental Studies - The School of Regional and International Studies received the title of the Vice-Miss FEFU while senior student Denis Neverov from the School of Economics and Management became the contest's Vice-Mister.

There were many students who decided to contest the title as over 100 students have participated in the strict pre-selection qualification. And only 12 best finalists (six females and six males) have participated in the grand final, which was held in a form of a competitive gala concert. In the course of a month under a leadership of experienced mentors they were learning their acting, dancing, singing, and even catwalking skills. Professional masters of style, make-up artists and hair designers have helped them create their contest images.
