Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) hosted the Pacific Tourism Forum (PTF). FEFU President Nikita Anisimov, Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Zarina Doguzova, and Governor of Primorsky Region Oleg Kozhemyako, solemnly opened up one of the largest industry events in the Asia-Pacific region.

This year it brought together 57 industry leaders from various countries, including Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, Macau and South Africa. At the same time, FEFU acted not only as a venue for the event, but also as an active participant in the exposition - the university stand occupied a central place at the exhibition and turned out to be very popular.

Visitors could learn more about the academic programs of FEFU and even take a 3D tour of the campus with virtual reality glasses. The proposal is aimed at applicants who live far beyond the boundaries of Primorsky Region and who wants to know more about classrooms, creative spaces, the military department and the famous FEFU embankment with their own eyes. In addition, guests of the stand were introduced to the developments of students and scientists. Thus, the FEFU Project Activity Center presented projects in two key areas of “Neurotechnology” and “Space Systems”.

The FEFU campus and Russky Island are “must see” objects for guests of Vladivostok. In order to develop this area, a partnership agreement has been concluded between Far Eastern Federal University and International Cruise Service Vladivostok LLC, which accepts cruise liners from the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. In April-May of this year more than 2,000 Korean tourists from Costa NeoRomantica and Costa Serena visited the FEFU campus. Tours of similar visits are scheduled for the summer and fall months.
