Master class by Kenji Mitsumoto, the head coach Chinese Judo National Team, Professor of Tokai University (Japan), was held at the International Judo Club of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). Fifty sportsmen of different ages comprehended the subtleties of martial arts.

Students and faculty of the FEFU School of Arts and Humanities, representatives of the regional Judo Federation, as well as participants of the 9th Asia-Pacific Youth Sports Games from Russia, China, Japan, Republic of Korea, the DPRK and Mongolia, have increased the level of skill in class sessions. Upon completion, judoists have passed the theoretical and practical exams.

Kenji Mitsumoto, a highly notable Japanese judoist, the holder of the 7th Dan, has held the master class in Far Eastern Federal University for the second time. The class venue—Judo Club—was opened at the campus in 2017 with the support of Tokai University and the Judo Federation of Primorsky Krai.

"Judo is very popular in Russia, it contributes to the development of mutual understanding between our countries," said Kenji Mitsumoto. "FEFU offers excellent conditions for training and I am sure that the number of fans of this sport will grow."
