Evgeny Vlasov was born on August 21, 1987 in Vladivostok.
In 2011 he graduated with honors from the Oriental Institute - School of Regional and International Studies of the Far East Federal University majoring in Oriental and African, specializing in "Languages and Literature of the Peoples of Asia and Africa (Vietnam)". During the period of study, he twice completed an annual educational internship in Vietnam at the country's leading universities.
In 2018, defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: "The political process in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam during the Doi Moi renewal period: essence, main stages and directions", and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Political Sciences (Ph.D.).
Since 2022, Chairman of the Board of the Primorsky Regional Public Organization "Society for Friendship with Vietnam".
University career:
2011-2018 Lecturer at the Department of Pacific Asia of Oriental Institute - School of Regional and International Studies.
2016-2017 Deputy Director of Oriental Institute - School of Regional and International Studies for Development.
2017-2022 Deputy Vice President for International Relations.
From 06/01/2022, acting Vice President for International Relations.
Additionally:
In 2013, received an additional (to higher) education "Teacher of Higher Education" at FEFU.
2015-2016 Within the framework of a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Vlasov was trained under the advanced training program at the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo.
From 2017 to the present, he has been a representative of the Russian Federation in the APEC Human Resources Development Working Group (EDNET Educational Network).
