In accordance with 2018 and previous rankings of QS rating, FEFU School of Law has always been in the top 5 law schools of the Russian Federation, and 1st among Russian law schools in the Asian Pacific part of Russia.

FEFU School of Law was recognized by the Russian Federal Government as one of five best university law schools of Russia, together with famous Moscow State University and Saint Petersburg State University law schools. It is the only law school in the Asian part of Russia providing all levels of legal education: Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, Candidate of Laws, Doctor of Laws. The faculty offers all necessary facilities to train highly qualified lawyers in the sphere of “jurisprudence”. The School has around 90 faculty members, 71% of them with Ph.D. degrees in Law, and over 1,200 students making the FEFU School of Law one of the largest law schools in Russia. Through programs for international cooperation, the School invites professors and legal experts from the USA, China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia and other countries to conduct lectures and specialized courses.

Among the FEFU School of Law faculties and lecturers, there are leading national researchers, sitting judges and lawyers of the top levels, including judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, heads and judges of 5th Appellate Commercial Court, Primorsky Regional  Commercial Court, Primorsky Regional Court, members of Primorsky Regional Electoral Commission, Primorsky Branch of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, Primorsky Prosecutor’s Office, Primorsky Regional Bar Association and Head of Primorsky Branch of Association of Lawyers of Russia.

FEFU School of Law graduates - deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, as well as  more than 90% of senior law enforcement officials and practicing lawyers in the Russian Far East.

Every year the most promising students are chosen to participate in Russian and international research events. In 2019, 16 FEFU School of Law students received financial support and represented the School at such events as: The VI Student Moot on International Commercial Arbitration named after M.G. Rozenberg “VAVT 2019 – International Sale of Goods”; International Research Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Researchers “Lomonosov-2019”; XVII International Research and Practical Conference “Kutafin Readings”; The IV International Student Competition on Mediation and Negotiations “Mediation of the Future” in Minsk (Belarus); the Competition of IT Lawyers 2019, etc. The team representing FEFU School of Law on the model of the International criminal court-2019 in Moscow and in the Hague (the Netherlands) took 1st place in the final of the competition.

 While studying Law at FEFU School of Law, students have the opportunity to take part in numerous exchange programs and international internships across the Pacific Rim and other countries of the world.
