The 2021 Admission Campaign aimed at attracting talented young people from foreign countries to study in Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs at Far Eastern Federal University is about to be finished.

Despite the continuing difficult epidemiological situation, FEFU confidently keeps high-quality work with international applicants. The number of applications from potential foreign applicants has doubled compared to the previous year (2020 - 1400, 2021 - 2650 applications). The Admission Campaign will last until the end of August, owing to the online working format, FEFU will definitely break its own record for the number of processed applications from abroad.

Traditionally, the list of TOP-countries for FEFU admission includes China, India, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Korea, Vietnam. This year, for the first time, applicants from Italy and the Philippines applied to FEFU. The number of countries for FEFU international students is now 74, the number includes existing students and applications geography as well.

Unfortunately, one of the limiting factors in this process is the underdeveloped telecommunications infrastructure in a number of foreign countries and regions, from where applicants want to get a high-quality Russian education, but due to restrictions on the Internet speed, they cannot pass exams from home. FEFU has to organize places for conducting entrance examinations abroad. Fortunately, the wide network of FEFU Representative Offices and partners around the world allows us to provide such services.
