The grand opening of the photo plein-air "Baikal for Everyone" took place at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). The organizer of the exhibition was a student of the School of Arts and Humanities Stanislav Panchenko. You can enjoy the work of the photographer until July 2.
“Baikal for Everyone” is an all-Russian project aimed at developing domestic tourism through the creation and distribution of photo and video content. Photographers, videographers, bloggers and hospitality representatives from all over Russia have passed a multi-stage selection to become members of the expedition to Baikal. During the trip, they took hundreds of photographs and video sketches, which later formed the basis of their own projects and photo exhibitions.

“’Baikal for Everyone’ is not only a unique opportunity for talented photographers to prove themselves, but also an important step in the development of domestic tourism in Russia. This is an exhibition about love for a small Motherland. It's great to see how our students create unique patriotic media products. I am sure that in the near future there will be even more such student initiatives,” said FEFU President Boris Korobets.

In FEFU, a sophomore of School of Arts and Humanities, Stanislav Panchenko, became a participant in the project. Inspired by the beauties of the Irkutsk region and Lake Baikal in particular, the student prepared three works: "HPP" (hydroelectric power plant), "Loneliness" and "Capitalism and Lenin". He created not just a photo exhibition, but a full-fledged tourist product with its own history, saturated with love for the distant corners of the Motherland.

“Trips of this kind are very important! Unfortunately, many of the places we visited, I had never even heard of before. And these are incredible views, an impressive atmosphere and an unforgettable local flavor. The program amazed me! It will be great to participate in similar projects to discover other previously unexplored parts of Russia,” shared Stanislav Panchenko.

Recall that the “Baikal for Everyone” project was created by students of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University in 2017. In the autumn of the same year, participants from 20 regions of Russia went to conquer Lake Baikal - during the trip they created more than 200 works. Since then, photo expeditions have been held annually, attracting media professionals from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
