The Volunteer Recruitment and Training Center of the World Youth Festival of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) is looking for recruiters and trainers to ensure the festival’s information campaign, select and train volunteers for work at the 2024 largest youth event in the world. Applications will be accepted until September 15, 2023.

Recruiters and trainers are key players in the Volunteer Recruitment and Training Center team. The tasks of recruiters include the selection of volunteers and the processing of received resumes. The trainer, who is also a mentor, will train future volunteers of the Festival, prepare an effective team of volunteers and team leaders with special competencies.

“The festival is the largest and long-awaited youth event of 2024. The young generation of our country, foreigners and, of course, FEFU students are waiting for it. Already today, the students have the opportunity to apply and become a participant, a volunteer and even a member of the team of the Volunteer Center of the Festival, which is opened on the basis of our university together with the Department of Youth Affairs of the Primorsky Territory. Remembering my own experience in the organization of the Festival in 2017, I can assure you that these are inexpressible emotions that cannot be conveyed, but must be felt at least once in a lifetime,” says Alexander Kaidanovich, FEFU Vice President for Youth Policy.

You can become a part of the World Youth Festival 2024 Volunteer Program by submitting an application on the website. Based on the recruitment results, recruiters and coaches will prepare 92 volunteers, with whom they will travel from March 1st till March 7th to the main youth event of the year.

Note that the World Youth Festival will be held in Sochi in the spring of 2024. The event will bring together more than 20,000 Russian and international young leaders in the field of media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and other.

Recall that, according to the results of the All-Russian competition, FEFU became the only higher education institution in the Russian Far East, ready to attract and train volunteers for the World Youth Festival. The university was included in the list of 27 accredited Centers for attracting and training volunteers from all over Russia.
