Studies of bending structures of composite steel
and reinforced concrete (review)

Abstract: This article is dedicated to bending structures made of steel-reinforced concrete. Their main feature is the effective combination of steel and concrete properties; however, in Russia they have extremely limited usage. The authors reviewed the development of experimental and theoretical studies of this type of structural elements. Based on the materials studied, conclusions are drawn about the efficiency of bending steel-reinforced concrete structures, as well as the need to develop methods for calculating them through further field and numerical experiments.
Keywords: composite steel and concrete structures, bending structures, research overview.
