List of the topics offered for the prospective scientific research

The work of the prospective applicant will be focused on complex colloidal systems based on polymer structures, including composites or polyelectrolyte complexes. The work should be practically oriented. The possibility of using the obtained materials for medical, biomedical or pharmaceutical purposes must be confirmed. The topic of the potential applicant's work will depend on the direction of research in accordance with the above criteria.

Supervisor’s research interests

Nanotechnology, material sciences, polymer sciences, colloid chemistry. 

Research highlights 

The potential applicant will be involved in the work of various departments and laboratories of the School of Medicine and Life Sciences of FEFU carrying out research activities in chemical, biological and biomedical areas. The work will be an interdisciplinary project. The applicant will be required to get the skills to work on research equipment under the guidance of experienced mentors. Some of the equipment is unique research complexes assembled for specific biomedical and chemical applications.

Supervisor’s specific requirements:

Prospective applicant must have basic laboratory skills: know the safety rules of working in a chemical laboratory, rules of working with laboratory glassware and chemical reagents, rules of working with a basic set of laboratory equipment (pH-meters, UV-visible spectrophotometers, etc.).
