The creation of the Far Eastern section of IEEE is initiated in Far Eastern Federal University IEEE.

At the initial stage the Far Eastern Section will be represented by five universities in 6 of 39 IEEE Technical Societies.

3. Creation of new research areas, investment and innovation projects on the basis of FEFU, curated by IEEE experts.
